The Shannan Price Scholarship Association was created in 2005 to help eternalize the memory and legacy of a loving and supportive friend, Shannan Price. The scholarship is delivered each year to one female athlete at Woodside High School who embodies Shannan's spirit – who leads by a positive example, who encourages her teammates to strive for success and who ultimately supports her peers. There are nine board members behind this initiative, which consist of friends committed to celebrating Shannan's life by positively impacting a young athlete and supporting her educational and athletic endeavors.
